That would equal 4 core's and 4 virtual cores capable of 8 threads correct?

Is this compatible with Windows XP Pro? I read that Windows XP Pro can handle up to 2 physical processors and unlimited number of cores, so I'm presuming it would be fine?

as long as it's only physical and can handle ^3 cores then it should be fine.

worse comes to worse, get windows server
