A-Rod gave Corona pointers in the offseason and worked with him on his hitting

A-Rod wanted to see the program, the renovated field and to see if te pointers paid off

A-Rod flies up here on his own dime, sports some State gear, tosses 1st pitch, stays the majority of the game (left when score was 16-0), signs autographs and does interviews praising State's program and coach.

A-Rod turns out to be a decent guy

Guy I know saw A-Rod at Sullivan's that night. He said A-Rod was laid back as hell and freely had conversations with anyone and everyone. Not at all uppity or aloof. Its like he got so "superstar" that the's rotated back around the other side of the spectrum to become ultra normal.
