I heard this too...but I liked scream 1,2 and 3. Maybe I just have bad taste in movies?

I saw the original movie when I was a kid. I thought the big surprise of the movie was when they find out the calls are coming from inside the house. They must have changed a lot of stuff, because they showed that part on the previews.

Either way... don't think I will be seeing this one.
