Does anyone have any idea for info on the development of bands' websites (for instance http://www.korn.com)? Cost, number of developers/artists, etc?
Trying to get some some info to throw at someone that who said "Why doesn't our website look like Korn's"?.... 2/11/2006 2:59:10 PM |

well you might start by contacting 310 interactive, the guys that made the site.
but simply put, they have a cheesy as shit 3d animation and then some flash. 3d animation like that probably cost em 5-10 grand, even as horrible as it is. The site itself was probably another 10-15.
Info to throw at him? 3d animation and rendering, flash development, backend scripting, overall design time, media encoding, QA.
Btw Korn doesn't exactly have a good website. Expensive, yes, but not good. If he doesn't understand why there's a price difference, he shouldn't be commenting on a website at all. 2/12/2006 2:10:24 PM |
