^^ Errmmm...the Germans were in the game until the very end. Jagr scored a fluky goal that bounced off Olie and the defender, and then Vyborny got an empty netter. 4-1 score is very deceiving.

Goalie is the weakness of both Russia and Slovakia.

If Russia had Nicholli Habibulin (SP?) they would be more of a threat to medal.

I really like the position of the US and Finland with favorable schedules in their 1st two so they can get in their stride when they have to face stong cometition this weekend. We will see how it plays out but those 2 are sleepers for medals.
