I know most people on here will take his side but Guillen is a first class asshole. I severely dislike him. The second things go down hill in Chicago he will be canned because he can't keep his fat trap shut..

^^ I think it's ridiculous that Piazza is playing for Italy and that Nomar is playing for Mexico. They don't have citizenship there. HOWEVER, Alex HAS dual citizenship. It's up to him to play where he wants..

How can anyone take his side on this one? Thank goodness Ozzie isn't in charge of deciding which countries players feel like they can best represent. Like you said, he doesn't know anything about A-Rod's values. Not everyone has the same values as him. I have no problem with Ozzie saying this though, because hopefully someone will rip him a new one for his comment, either in public, or more likely, in private.

I should have clarified. If they start to struggle, he is going to call his players out, piss them off, the media will take it and run with it, etc. I understand he has been part of the white sox for a long time and won a world series but i just think that with someone this volatile something like that is more likely to happen. But then again, they might not struggle for a while and everything will be fine.
