The shackles i bought from tractor supply used pins. I want bolts. The highest grade they had was a grade 8, the bumper they are going on is attached to the frame using grade metric grade 10.9. How does a standard grade 8 compare to a metric 10.9? Are the 8s plenty strong for holding the shackle under heavy loading?

8.8 is grade 5, both correspond to same numbers on the rockwell scale, break out your intro to mse book
