I went to the NC Press Association's awards banquet tonight. The Daily Tar Heel won an award for best sports photography in its category for a very plain shot of Carolina celebrating its NCAA win. It was the only award it won, and the photo was considerably less interesting than either of the runners up.

I won three awards, so in my mind, that makes the score NC State 1, UNC 0 -- completely discounting, of course, a room full of fucking UNC grads.
