I was proud of all the students tonight. It was the most intense it has ever been in that arena. And even when there was no chance of us comin back nearly everyone stayed, participated in the songs, and didnt boo or do anything stupid. We showed a lot tonight, and i know that the team and Herb are so disappointed that they couldnt put everything together for us. Believe me, they feel as bad or worse as we do.

All of the bad stuff that gets said about our student body was proved wrong tonight, and I was proud to be there among my students raising hell and supporting our team.

Our team didnt want it tonight, and if they did, and they feel bad about it, then they should have fucking acted like they wanted to win on the court. Feeling bad about not trying doesnt do shit when the game is over. UNC is a good team, but they're not that good. Trust me, that team doesnt give a FUCK what we think. If they did, Evtimov wouldnt make comments like "well the rivalry is just between the fans". Fuck our basketball team.

I'm gonna stop posting, cause i get more mad with every post. I can handle a loss, I cant handle a team that doesnt give a fuck.

I listen to a lot of radio especially before and after games. When people talk about the rivalry between State and UNC to our players, this is always what they respond with. Evtimov was the most recent.

In my 3 years here, I've never seen a team look like it didnt want to win a game. Last night was not the result of poor shooting. It was being out hustled, in every aspect of the game. They looked like they gave up with about 5 minutes to go in the first half. It took everything I had to stay there. They were pathetic last night.

I am an alum and seen many games. What I dont understand is why our fans only cheer when we either a) Dunk or b) hit a 3. I played bball in highschool and fans cheering on D helped the most without a doubt.

Our fans just act like they should cheer/make noise as a reward for the team scoring. Fan participation is more of a 6th man thing than a reward.

The reason its like that with our team more than any other is that we have streaks where we're brilliant and exciting, then the next 5 minutes we look stupid. I'm sorry, but why cheer on D when your teams gonna go down to the other end and fuck it up, or why cheer on D when they're not actually playing D.
