I'm new to ebay.

I bid on a ti-89 calculator from a user with a 0 feedback score.

I did not notice that he required a money order for payment. I do not have experience
using money orders, and really dont feel like using one for the first time
with an ebay user that has a 0 feedback score.

Is there anyway to withdraw my bid?

go to the grocery store, pay the 85 cents for one with the amount you need, sign it, and mail it.

It's simple as hell, no need to retract your bid

Yes you can withdraw a bid from an active auction. Look through the help section on Ebay, it should tell you how. It is frowned upon, but as long as you dont start withdrawing bids all the time it wont be a big deal.
