You obviously have not grown up in NC listening to tarholes since you entered kindergarden.

They are fair weather, arogant, moronic, self centered idiots who dont understand that there is life outside UNC basketball. UNC has one of the greatest programs in the history of college basketball. No denying that. However, its their fans who we hate. Its their fans that get us pumped to beat them every year. Nobody talks more shit than the average UNC fan. Nobody makes more retarded predicitons about how great their team will be than the average UNC fan.

What happened to them when they were 8-20? They crawled into a hole because nobody had real associations with the school. Those were the best 2 years of my life because I didnt have to listen to bullshit from some faggot walmart fans.

State on the other hand, with the exception of 73-74, have always been underdogs. After their first few years of dominance in the ACC, everyone else caught up because there was no media bias towards one school or another, making a level playing field more likely. We hung around until the mid 80's, then fell off when we got in trouble right when the media was hyping college basketball the most.

I dont care that we fell off. Thats just bad luck. We have the fans that dont give a fuck, and are loyal to their school no matter what happens. We have the history in college basketball, yet UNC fans think they have dominated us since the beginning of time, which is totally false. Duke on the other hand, has a smaller fan base and a great program. I dont have to listen to Duke fans every time I go home talk about how much they dominate everyone. I do however have to listen to UNC fans talk this shit all the time, whether its basketball season or not, or whether its called for or not.

Its not the teams, its the fans, and since nobody around here deals with droves of Duke fans on a daily basis, we all HATE UNC much more than Duke. Fuck the tar heels.
