greek mythology is a great class for an elective, but i think it might be spring only.
ENG 221 was great (with kellner), i'm sure it was in the fall. it was 1 short paper a week on a given topic, but you could choose to skip a few weeks (or not skip them and do the papers for extra credit). No quizzes, no tests, no final exam. It was alot of fun, and low stress. It was great works in western lit. Had some ancient classes which was fun & all the important guys that any educated person should have some familiarity with.
Intro to philosophy can be interesting to people who have never had a philosophy class.
Ancient philosophy specifically is really fun, but it is a spring only class.
HI 207 - an intro to ancient history Ancient near east, ancient Greece, and Rome was a great class too.
But my idea of fun is ancient stuff, things that make you think, and mythology. If you are into that, then these classes might be right for you. 3/2/2006 7:36:02 PM |

oh i really want to take greek mythology! wanted to since i saw it was offered..
as for electives, i really liked IDS201N. i don't know about the N part, i think that's only for people who've had a Q class or something. tavakoli was the professor, and he is one of my favorite professors ever. he's the man, and the class is really interesting. 3/2/2006 8:55:09 PM |

You should, the professor who teaches it is great. She’s humorous, and it’s a really social class. I always enjoy class discussions more than being lectured at anyways. 3/3/2006 1:21:18 AM |
