i just got this crazy idea that i need to play some red alert 1 and i can't find my cd. does anyone have it and perhaps send it to me, and will it work in xp?

nah, red alert came out in like 1997, right? no need to lock the poor man's thread
isn't there some sort of rule -- if some junk is like 8 yrs old, piracy no longer applies?

abandonware is when it's no longer sold or supported.. it doesn't have any legal meaning.. it's still illegal to distribute it.. but the odds of abandonware piracy being prosecuted are slim..
and Red Alert isn't abandonware with the recent release of First Decade (no need for the win95 mode anymore)..

Ebay if you don't want to spend the extra $$$ for the anthology (or whatever its called).
