"As far as the Combine events went, I felt pretty good with them. First off, the bench press workout set the tone for everything. I really got motivated off of that because I was able to do the bench at 225 pounds 35 times. I fed off that for the rest of the way. When I did the vertical jump, that also got me motivated because I did 40½ inches. Then it carried over to the 40-yard dash. All the workouts were the highlights, but I know that it's the brainpower that gets you to the NFL.

One guy who impressed me was Manny Lawson. I know he was my teammate at N.C. State, but he really impressed me out there. He was just so quick on the drills. Everything he was doing was fluid. I knew he was fast, but he almost broke a 4.3 in the 40. And he (vertical) jumped high as well. Out of everybody there, he was the guy everyone was being compared against. It's just Manny! N.C. State was really represented at the Combine, and I think we really represented N.C. State well this week.
