If we lose next week, and Herb really does get canned?

Do our players from next year find somewhere else?

Do Fells, Costner, McCauley Transfer?

Wright will for sure not come here...he's still a year away.



I want Herb gone now as much as the next guy, but not if we lose some of these guys. I just want someone else to coach them.

I could care less.

I'm more interested with the unknown than knowing no matter what recruits we get, Herb will never hang a meaningful banner.

to answer your question....no

many of the players dislike herb and his system. somehow he brainwashes them when recruiting them, but once they get here, most of them realize what they're dealin with.

If Herb gets canned....All the named players will leave, Wright and McMillan will not come in and we will be playing Clemson and VT on a yearly basis the first day of the ACC tournament for at least 5 years. I dunno about you, but I don't want that while Im here at State.

And really, who knows if in 5 years our prospective coach will have us at a higher level than they are right now. This will be the 5th NCAA in a row this year.

^^ your doom and gloom is a little exaggerated. Sendek isn't that good to expect a huge dropoff if he is gone. bring in a good coach and i'd imagine most of our players would stay along with our recruits. although the possibility of losing a player is always there.

you'll eventually be off the herb bandwagon... it's just a matter of time.

How could players WANT to play for Herb? They watch basketball. They see folks like Bayheim, Calhoun, Roy, Skinner, etc. Our coach looks like the most un-fun coach to play for EVER.

Regardless, I stand by my feelings that I'd rather experience the unknown than live KNOWING we'll never hang a meaningful banner while Herb is here. Herb can consistently get us to the Big Dance. So. What? Nobody remembers 2nd place.
