LB's arent worth that much in the NFL anymore anyway... we got a good DL...we can put average guys back there and make them look good.

Witherspoon is just a good player in a right scheme. He's not worth that much money. I'm glad the Panthers didn't break the bank trying to retain him. Thomas Davis will fill in his spot just fine.

i flew back from vegas last night and peppers was on the flight. he said that they are going to turn some heads on some signings this year in free agency. he also said he basically can cover his 1/3 of the field in different schemes, so he can cover for Thomas Davis until he is ready.
