You gotta find a better logo then.... That picture just isn't cutting it.

Maybe you could get a picture of Hillary Clinton for your Fence Sitters Club.

I used to be firmly in the pro herb side of the fence as I remeber how high the suckage was under les robinson, but 10 years is just too long for this level...
now if we had at least an ACC championship or something then yes, I'd say keep herb, but we can't beat our rivals, we consistantly under perform, and after each year being expected to have even lower expectations, I'm just done hoping herb could be that little engine that could...

^^Under-perform by whose standards? We were picked 4th in the ACC preseason.

In all his time here, he hasn't finished better than 4th. Georgia Tech has finished better than us. I'm sick of underperforming.

Under performed by not bringing the team to the top of the confrence. Sure the 8-9 game used to be the Les Robinson Invitational. And yes we have come a long way, however, we've had plenty of time to do a heck of a lot better than where we are...

Although, the season is not over, I'm reserving passing final judgement until the NCAA's are over... barring a sweet 16 or better performance I have to speculate that this season could have been much better.

Underperforming means not playing up to capabilities or educated expectations. Have we legitimately had a team with the talent to win the ACC or make a deep run in the NCAA's? Recruiting between Duke and UNC is not easy. What do we have to offer over them?

I'll tell you what looks attractive for prospective recruits and Coaches....

If they happen to break though and win the big one, they WILL be immortalized.

On the other hand, if they turn out to be a complete bust, they get to hear shit from some of the most vocal fans in america.

If I were a great player, why not go to NC State and bring back their program??

I suppose there is that angle, but it's a pretty big risk. I hope some choose to take it in the near future.

carolina was suppose to finish terribly in conference this year, but managed to finish second. And I'm sick of the Lee Fowler argument that we cannot compete with Duke and Carolina. We use to be the dominant basketball school in this conference. We use to have the most ACC championships. We can compete with Duke and UNC. We just don't have a coach who can.

We need a jaded club.

I was a student during the Les Robinson days. I'm still waiting for the dark shroud to be lifted off us.
