he was definitely the voice of reason at some points, and definitely the diplomat at some


the thing he said about Herb's public face serving as a stalwart for his athletes made a lot of sense

each one of those coaches has lost every game to unc over the past 2 years

we need some kind of major leadership overhaul or we just need to give up altogether

Yeah, and we lost our guarantee gimme win with the Duke football team, so we haven't beaten them in anything the last 2 years either (only 1 game per basketball team per year now), so against our 2 biggest rivals the past 2 years we are 0-14.

I wonder when all State fans will figure out that we'll always be inferior to UNC in just about everything except for engineering and cross country.

It sucks...but the trade off is that we get to wear red and they have to wear that light blue color that makes me want to puke.

regardless of how unc athletics does competing against ncsu athletics, in nature, packs of wolves will always rule supreme over male sheep

i don't see herb making the hall of fame like kay yow...i'm a little biased with that though since i used to work for kay yow...she's a great coach, but there were some problems with one other staff member in particular that players didn't respond well to...then a few transfers and things like that...

she's a great coach though and still does all the drills and stuff in practice...i've been playing or around basketball my whole life and i learned a ton from her, herb knows his stuff (basketball wise), but i think the days of a princeton offense are over...he isn't a master motivator like dean smith or coach k and it's tough to get the top recruits to come run a princeton style offense...

that's just my 2 cents...

Good News? We scored that many (which was 51 anyways) because of fouling them and the game basically being over there was no defense.

And perhaps I listened to it wrong.. but it sounded like to me that Fowler said, "And have Duke on the ropes twice..and barely lost to them each time" LOL
