does anyone know how she uses teh attendance record? i didn't see a specific attendence policy on the syllabus but i know she takes it. i was just wondering b.c all the lectures can be streamed online and i found it easier to learn when i can pause, rewind, and watch at my convience. however, i do not want to do this if it is hurting my grade to miss class.

When I took 211 with Townsend, she didn't take attendance, only the 211P took attendance. She may use it to bump up your grade if you're borderline. If it's not in the syllabus then it's not going to hurt your grade.

Townsend is great. Makes sure people understand the material, lets you know what to expect on tests, helpful in class.

if you have the chance, voluntere(sp?) to be an Graduation marshal... when your like a freshmen or sophomore... b/c she will learn your name and ALWAYS help you out... I :heart: her greatly

she learned to know my name when I got a 100% on one of her tests. Needless to say I liked 211 w/her.
