Word, because I got something in the mail for 3.32 a bale for quantities of 20, said delivery options available but I'm wondering if that is included in the price or not, probably not.
3/16/2006 9:04:40 PM
yeah if it was included, it'd probably have FREE delivery in huge letters or something to make it seem like a ridiculous deal.
3/16/2006 9:08:09 PM
3.32 delivered would be a pretty good deal. When I worked for a landscaping company, we paid $1.60-2.25 a bail depending on the season. But it was pickup only and I doubt they sold to the public. And a single bale covers MAYBE 5-6 sq feet.
3/16/2006 9:14:55 PM
usually with a quanitity like that, delivery is free.
3/16/2006 9:15:25 PM
Yea, thats the other possibility I am thinking, if they are mentioning a large quantity like that, then perhaps it includes delivery.
3/16/2006 9:23:49 PM
better check, cause it usually isn't.

Yes, I realize I should have done this stuff in the fall, live and learn. So I put some wheat straw down over some bare areas (seeded and fertilized) but I think I put it on pretty thick. Would you guys just keep watering and let the straw keep deteriorating or scoop it all up and move it to the curb, or mow over it?
