What do you need to know? I've used Mambo/Joomla quite a bit. 3/19/2006 6:33:34 PM |

^ Aahhhh, No.
Mambo has done the development - I need someone to manage the info on the site. If I expected you to use all your skills and knowledge - I would pay you, your asking rate. Obviously, since you graduated, you have more skills on than this requires.
It might require more $, but you gotta start somewhere. It'll be easy money.
Maybe you should loosen your thong - it might be too tight. 3/19/2006 9:16:21 PM |

If that's all you need, just hire on one of your current employees, any monkey can enter information.
Asking for someone proficient in Mambo, IMPLIES knowing the system to develop something for it. That's like asking for someone who is proficient with gas engines, then saying OH, I just want someone who has a drivers license.
My panties aren't in a bunch thank you. You posted a job opportunity with ZERO information. I told people what you responded with. And I had those skills long before I graduated. If you want someone with a web background, you are going to have a hard time considering most work study jobs pay better than that, especially anything technical. 3/19/2006 9:29:51 PM |

how about you stop being a dick when someone posts a job opportunity if people dont want the job they wont take it, but someone might want the job

How am I being a DICK ABOUT IT?
If you want to HIRE someone, being SPECIFIC about WHAT you want to hire them for would probably save you and prospective employees a lot of time.
Did I not get that across? And yes it gets under my skin, because this type of "job" pops up all the time. Someone who doesn't know what they need, doesn't describe the position, and sure doesn't want to pay anything for it. 3/19/2006 9:50:10 PM |

so if he doesnt give enough information you can email him or reply with "what is the position" or "can i have some more information"
but no you reply with the predictable, played out noen response

I did email him. But good try making assumptions about it.
It's not like this is classified information or anything, it's a damn portal site. 3/19/2006 9:55:50 PM |

but then you went and made your usual "OMG LOOK AT MY GIANT HIGH HORSE" response
and in doing so made yourself look like a dick... again 3/19/2006 9:57:01 PM |

Where was this response?
You mean to the one where Mr. Royster finally explained the position?
How am I on any high horse? I am stating what should be obvious, common sense suggestions. 3/19/2006 10:31:44 PM |
