So I recently moved to Charlotte after I graduated. In Raleigh I had no problems with my Alltel service. In my apt, service wasn't that great but several people had that issue. Now that I've moved to charlotte, I get dropped calls all the time. It's too the point that I'm looking at other services. So I talked to an Alltel guy tonight, he was like which phone do you have? I showed him the LG phone I had in Raleigh and he immediately says you're phone sucks buy a new one.

Why the hell is it always the phones fault? Oh and then he tried to sell me a Razor.

a bad phone can cause dropped calls, but if you didnt have problems in raleigh thats not likely

and the razr is not the phone to get if you are having reception problems

^ me too

but on a side note, Alltel has to pay for all the dropped called (they've had all kinds of commercials advertising this, so you may want to ask the agent or look on your bill)

my LG 1200 from cingular never drops.

I've dropped it a few times and the screen tweaks on me now and then. But it hasn't affected any thing else like clarity or signal in Raleigh or Charlotte.

The only thing is that the camera quit working about a year ago but i could care less today.

^ My sister had a phone that looked like that that she took on the zipper, too. It fell out and hit some redneck in the face, breaking his nose. It was great when his friends tried to go intimidate her... She was like, 13.

I have had the same phone for two years. Its held together with duct tape and doesn't have any features, but big fricking deal. It gets the job done.

don't hate on the cell phone companies when it's really the service providers that are being dicks.
