In order for me to graduate on time (8-semesters) technically a year late b.c of co-op, i have to take ECE 301,302,and 303 the same semester and have one of my senior semesters w/ 4 Senior level engineering classes w/ an additional STS 371 or ENG 331.

STS 371? or ST 371?

Why not do ENG 331 DE during the summer?

ENG 331 DE over summer is the easiest way to get that credit.

Talk to an advisor and see what they can work with your schedule. I was able to get out in 4 years with 2 majors, a minor, and two coop rotations (one fall/one summer).

My co-op has been very flexible with my school/graduating on time needs. Last summer, I took 1 distance ed. course, and took an on campus engineering course and worked second shift one summer session. This semester, I am co-oping full time, or more realistically 30-35 hours a week instead of 40 and taking senior design. Assuming you have rotations left, an arrangement like this may help make your semester workload a little more managable.

its doable. i took 301, 302 and 303 the same semester. and i have 4 ECEs this semseter and its not too bad. both st371 and eng331 are simple classes that require very little time...so they should be a nice break in your schedule.

why is it a big deal if you grad in 9 semesters?

"on time" is very relative.

Studying, writing pointless essays, doing stupid tests, paying tutition.....

vs.

Paycheck

Yeah, I left out partying because you can fit that into either line.

Even I had ECE301, ECE302, ECE303, ST371 and MDS326 in the same semesters. I was also working on campus for about 15 hours. As long as you plan your schedule, and stick to it throughout, it is pretty manageable. ST371 and ENG331 may require some work, but its not like brainstorming. The ECE homeworks and exams will be more time consuming though.

hopefully you should manage well. good luck!
