I'd like to catch one this big. My biggest is about 2-3 lbs.

I really didn't even expect them to get that big in nc streams and rivers.

^that trout was caught on an ultra light spinning rod, probably with 6 or 8 pound test, that would have been just as fun as a big marlin or tuna on a stiff saltwater rod.

im not saying anything bad about saltwater, i like it too.

but, i like trout fishing better. Have you tried it?

WTF??? I thought the damn season was closed... I was there yesterday!!! Fucking trout laws are more confusing thatn the damn US tax code... there's like five different laws and seasons on five miles of the Tuckasseegee River!!!!

K, I think those are non-trout waters, meaning there is no closed season.
