duke got shut down tonight though...plain and simple...when you shoot 28% from the field it's hard to beat any decent team...they were outplayed, redick was shut down, duke loses...that doesn't make duke a bad team though, so once again you made yourself look dumb...

Me? Easy... I despise everything the ACC stands for. I root my sac off for State in everything but I'm not a fan of the ACC. Nearly everyone knows why and I don't fee like explaining it.

That said, this thread is dumb. We've all made predictions that didn't come true. About half way through the year when JJ was playing 37-38 mins/night no matter what the score I changed from having Duke as Nat'l Champions to out in the Sweet 16. No matter though.. They were good, they just met a good great team.

Remember this LSU team took UConn down to the wire IN HARTFORD and only lost when Marcus Williams hit 2 FTs in the last 5 seconds to win by 1 AND won the SEC reg season. It's not like they were some scrub team and they had GREAT matchups (Temple cancelled out Redick, Davis cancelled out Shelden, and they had no answer for Tyrus Thomas)..

Good season for Duke but they had some flaws that didn't get really revealed until about mid-season.
