Anybody know where I can get a free download of Microsoft Word? I had to get everything wiped off my computer because someone hacked into it and was sending bogus emails to time warner customers.
Unfortunately..I have no idea what I did with the original disk. 3/27/2006 12:47:01 PM |

Thug, asking for copies of commerical software on this message board is illegal. Let me ask, where/how did you originally get Microsoft Word on your computer? If it came with your computer, find the disks that came with your computer and reinstall it from the disk. If it didn't, you'll need to find a friend with it, or buy it from the NCSU bookstore for $70. 3/27/2006 1:36:07 PM |

I know at the NCSU bookstore you can get the whole Office suite for like $50 or less w/ your Student ID. It may be like $25, but I can't remember. 3/27/2006 4:09:10 PM |

^^^^ You specifically said "If it came with the computer, find the disk and reinstall it... If not (I.e. if it did not come with the computer) then get it from a friend".
You said nothing close to "if you can't find the disk but have a license it use it".
Like OMFG it's so cool to type "OMFG". 3/27/2006 7:35:53 PM |

Nah we sell it for more than that.
It's $59.95 for Office 2003 Standard or Office Mac 2004 (single license, cd-only), or $69.95 for Office 2003 Professional.
Faculty and staff get this price now as well.
