baonest...yell at a nigga...
My sister is looking for a new car after some asstard ran into hers and totalled it. Looking fer a Corolla (preferrably a wagon) or maybe a Camry, possibly any of the comparable Hondas.
I know that all of their cars are insurance cars, but do they have (relatively) clean titles? Salvage titles? Looking at something we can get a loan on, and the prices are good. If the quality of the repair is good, and there ain't no damn salvage title on the car, then that's something to keep in mind.
Tell it all, and hook this nigger up.

y0, all i can say. if you want the real deal answers about the financing, hit up Justin (sales guy there).
but all i can say is that we've had like 3-4 cars from my work, 3 of them on full coverage and 1 on liabilty. so yeah, you can get insurance. not sure about the deal like how much detuctable and shizzle.
but we fix them up as best as possible. i mean, it aint 100%. but either we use 100% dealer parts, or aftermarket replacement, or perhaps from a junkyard.
which car you lookin at? i can try to get the scoop on it. maybe i can talk to my boss and get you some sort of deal (not sure what) 3/30/2006 8:51:33 PM |

I'm interested in any of the Corollas...obviously, the lower the mileage, the better, and an automatic is preferable. 4 doors, and alloys would be nice, though not totally necessary.
And I really would like one without a salvage title, but if it's in good enough condition and there aren't any structural issues, then I'm down with it. We tend to drive our cars into the ground anyway, so resale value is usually low on our list of priorities.
Don't worry about deals...we just want a good car at a good price, and we need it financed at a good rate. 3/31/2006 1:25:42 AM |

Carolina Imports (now Westgate Imports) sells great cars! I bought my Salvaged title Integra from them 2 years ago and it is in perfect condition! They repair the cars to original specifications. My girlfriend's parents have bought a few cars from Carolina Import as well. Most of the cars have a Salvaged title, but the cars are in great condition... many even have low miles. If you want certain options on a vehicle that they do not have, they will keep their eyes open at the auctions to find you the car you want. I definitely support Westgate Imports! 4/3/2006 2:07:45 PM |

dan, i talkd to justin on saturday. he said all the corollas are salvaged. along with the camrys also.
just roll up in there and see. and they also take requests if you are pretty serious. like if you want a theft recovery instead of wrecked then they could get one from auction and fix and sell. 4/3/2006 4:27:02 PM |

Thanks, man. I'll go look and see. I still haven't found one elsewhere that can compare pricewise, and if they hold up, then what the hell. 4/3/2006 5:20:50 PM |

I have been told by several people in the know that it is really easy to have a car with a salvage title issued a clean title once it has been brought back up to spec.
For example, if my car was in a little fender bender and the airbags just happened to deploy, the cost of sat a new control arm, strut and fender wouldnt total it. But add in the cost of new airbags, and there you go. Salvage title. Replace said shit, go to DMV HQ, have the lady look over it, and get a clean title.
I totally understand why Westgate doesnt do this though, because their main selling point is: here is a nice clean late model car with a great price because it is a salvage title. In this age of Carfax, a dealer that is honest like that will sell more cars than a dealer who is fixing up shit and getting new titles. 4/3/2006 6:13:07 PM |
