Does anyone know what a .pds file is? I searched and can't find it anywhere, and my friend has a graphic he needs to convert from that to a jpeg or gif or bmp (anything normal)

Know anything online that can convert this kind of file to something normal?

you sure it's not .psd? because that's a photoshop file.

Quote :
"PSD files are generally a layered file that is proprietary to Adobe PhotoShop. However, this file format has become so popular over recent years, that many other graphic software programs (newer versions) have programmed their software to be compatible with this file format. Adobe PhotoShop is an expensive program, however, two programs that I know can open and edit PSD files which are less expensive and quite good are Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 and Ulead PhotoImpact 7 & 8."

The friend is quite sure it is .pds. He says it's from some program called Printshop? In short, he's trying to get some t-shirts screenprinted and the printer he's using can't convert that file to anything.

Tell him to go back to print shop and save in a more commonly used format. His best bet is pdf if print shop supports. I haven't found any readily avaliable conversion tools for .pds files.

Yes, he needs to save it in printshop to something else. PrintShop supposedly supports export to jpg.
