Taken from another university police blotter:

Quote :
"Criminal Mischief / Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject entered the men's restroom and defecated into a urinal, then ran out of the restroom before his paperwork was completed. During the investigation, the subject was located a short distance away. The subject informed the officer that he was unaware that his actions were criminal since he was not from around here. The subject was issued a field release citation for Criminal Mischief. In addition to other law enforcement actions taken the subject was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and escorted off campus. Loss value: $35.00. Occurred on: 10-01-07, at 3:03 PM."

Quote :
"Harassment: A UT student approached the main gate leading onto the research campus and was granted access. Following established protocol, the student was required to sign in. The subject drew his rendition of the male genitalia on the signature line then handed the clipboard back to the UT guard. The guard saw the rendition and was offended. During the investigation, the student explained that he was “just trying to be funny.” The staff member declined to file charges, but wanted the student referred to the Dean of Students Office. Occurred on: 02-03-07, at 2:29 AM."

Quote :
"Disorderly Conduct: A UT student reported being approached by an unknown female twice over the course of two days. The student stated that during a recruiting drive, the unknown female began talking to him, then placed her hands on his shoulder continually while they talked about the student organization. The next day, the female attempted to kiss his hands and cheek. The student became offended and told her to stop. After being told to stop the female placed her head within several inches of the student’s nether region and explained to him that she would love to hum the National Anthem with a certain part of his body in her mouth. The subject stood up and began showing nude pictures of herself to other students that were standing around watching the events unfold. The unknown female was told to leave. The unknown female began screaming and yelling obscenities, then left the area. The unknown female was described as: White female, 5’-04”, slender build, shaved head, and last seen wearing a white dress with multi-colored dots, a long black dress with a fur collar, and a pink hat. Occurred on: 02-02-07, at 1:05 PM."

Quote :
"Assault With Bodily Injury: A UT student heard a loud popping sound then felt a sharp pain in the left cheek of his gluteus maximus. The student turned and watched a white BMW SUV drive slowly past him. At the time the student believed he had been hit by something ricocheting off the street. The student soon discovered that he had been hit with an object similar to a BB due to the injury and redness of his derriere. During the investigation several officers searched the area looking for the BMW and were unable to locate the vehicle. Occurred on: 2-08-07, at 11:45 PM"

Quote :
"Public Intoxication: A UT police officer observed a UT student staggering, attempting to navigate the contours of a straight sidewalk. This challenge proved to be too great. The officer stopped the subject and asked her for her ID. The student handed the officer a five dollar bill and told him that all of her information was there. The officer informed the subject that he did not believe she was Abraham Lincoln and again asked for her ID. The student handed the officer her purse and asked the officer to look for it since she could not find it. The officer located two valid Texas drivers' licenses, one issued to the subject and the other issued to an older friend. The subject began crying, telling the officer that she was a bad person. During the investigation the officer detected a very strong odor of alcohol on the student's breath and noted that she needed the support of a stationary wall. The subject was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 2-09-07, at 2:00 AM."

http://www.wral.com/police-seven-cars-hit-by-rocks-near-leesville-road/16316402/

I was running down Lynn Road towards Leesville when this was happening. A cop stopped coming up the hill on Lynn and was shining his spotlight into the woods right next to wear I was running (but obviously not at me). I didn't know if it was a wild animal, rapist, or lost kitten, but it freaked me out. 2 minutes later he turned around and followed me down the hill and shined his light into the entrance of lake lynn park (I turned around at Leesville to head back home).

Damn kids and their rocks.

Usually I head the other way on Lynn for my run (towards Creedmoor Rd), and on Thanksgiving the road was closed due to a major car accident. I'm glad WRAL and Reddit keep me up to date on what is happening because in both instances I couldn't figure out what the cops were doing.
