the only conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal Of Honor was buried a few days ago in Tennessee.

Cleary, objecting to him was far far more than an easy way out. Good for him. Sort of sickening - you see people running for president (from both parties) who try to account for "what they were doing when they were called upon" and somehow come up short, but there are people who absolutely don't believe in killing serving with everything they have.
