I come home and my desktop wont boot.
Fuck. The motherboard is getting power as the lil lcd light is on when its plugged in but el buttono of powero aint doing shit.
It's a dell dimension 8200 any suggestions?

uh yeah its old and all, but its what i got


i checked the connections and everything seems fine, i removed the battery to reset the cmos or whatever, i dont see anything thats visibly wrong inside...so WTF

ok here is my serious answer

take all the parts off of the motherboard and pretty much disassemble the entire thing

then put the entire thing back together

i dont know how many times this has worked for me but i'd atleast say 5 or 6

had the computer up and running...then it crashed

now its back to doing absolutely nothing when i try and power it on
no fans, nothing.

is it PS perhaps?
its an old ass comp so i mean maybe
