i think these guys go a little too far in saying poker is a "right"

but do you think the bills being proposed are a good idea? (they are linked on the right side of the site)

how much do you think the proposals would affect gambling on sites based offshore?

how is it not a right? i ahve the right to do whatever i want with my money, so long as i'm not harming anyone else

Not in America, buddy. In fact, often times you're allowed to do whatever you want with your money even if it DOES harm other people. The hilarious inconsistency in that is, many things which do not harm other people are illegal uses of your money.

While I think it should be legal, you taking that last thou from a gambling addict may be conceived as harmful.

He sure doesn't choose to gamble, no... he is forced to gamble by his horrible addiction... no no, not addiction, disease. That's right.

doesn't matter.

can't be enforced anyway. anybody can run a server in the fuckin' cayman islands or someplace else that won't be subject. they're just masturbating.
