Best thing to do is call around to each company. Some do hiring weeks others just hire on the spot. Just call and go "Who do I speak with for job opportunities with your company". You'll be amazed how fast you get in touch with owners etc. Or they give you an email and you email your resume in!

Just be nice to the person on the phone. Pleasent making her want to help you.
