i inserted a sound file for each slide because the project said i had to narrate each slide...ok well thats all good
so i save the power point when i've added each individual sound file to each individual slide
well before i send to the professor, i click it and its like "unable to locate file"
turns out the first 3 slides when i click the sound file's properties it says "e:/slide1.wav"
drive e is my flash drive...after the first 3 slides, all the sound files play, and say "[contained inside the presentation]"
i would love to get those first three slides sound files to be contained inside the presentation as well
[Edited on April 18, 2006 at 2:32 AM. Reason : i think the names affect it...the first three i labled "slide1" or "slide2" but the rest arent] 4/18/2006 2:29:59 AM |

nevermind you can delete this if you want
the problem was that if you insert a sound file thats more than 100kb, it will link it, instead of "containing" it in the presentation
so this is for all you that make power points, DONT send your professor something if you havent changed the setting to let sound files bigger than 100kb in your presentation

In the Link sounds with file size greater than box, click the arrows to change the minimum kilobytes required for sound files to be automatically linked (linked object: An object that is created in a source file and inserted into a destination file, while maintaining a connection between the two files. The linked object in the destination file can be updated when the source file is updated.) to your presentation. " |
