anyone have a cherokee where the plate (on the dash for the radio, air, heat, etc. controls) is or has melted a little. i can take my fingernail and scratch some of the surface off. it is only on the plate below the radio/cd player. anyone else have this problem?

i haven't noticed anything in mine but i have an aftermarket head unit in. i'll look again tomorrow but i've had my 98 for years and haven't noticed

yeah i have a stock radio but its not on the controls. its the face plate that you have to take off to remove the radio. basically the outer shell.
