I'll try to keep this real short, so more ppl will read and give me insight (or insult me).

Okay, so Sat. night I went out to dinner with 7 girls. 3 girls I'm friends with (lets say they're named Kate, Allison, & Kelly) and the rest I didn't know. One of the other girls was Allison's sister visiting from ATL (we'll call her Lauren). This girl was amazing. Amazingly gorgeous, great to talk to, and smart. I talked to her a lot, esp. when we shared my umbrella while walking the 10 blocks from the restaurant to the bar. I had diff. plans at the time, so I was leaving after escorting them to the bar. Well Lauren was like, "you're leaving?!" I said yes I'm sorry, but I'll probably meet back up with you guys later.

So I went to this other party on the other side of town, and after 2 hrs decided I'd prefer the company of the ladies i was with previously. So I called up Allison to make sure they were still at the same place, then hopped in a cab and got over there.

I found them pretty easily, sitting at a table right off the dance floor. All of them except for Allison were talking to some random guys. So I walked up and said hey to Allison and Lauren. I spent most of the next 20-30 minutes talking to Allison and Kelly. Lauren didn't really say much to me, was just talking to some guy. So I was like crap, maybe I missed my chance. But after a bit the other guys left so it was just me and the girls. Lauren was sitting next to me, but was messing around with her cell, so I was talking to Kelly. Well randomly Lauren leans over and kisses me on the cheek. I was like thanks whats that for, but she didn't reply.

A little later it got better (not really) when Kelly told me that Allison had a crush on me (I have no interest in Allison). So I was like, crap I like Lauren but don't want to piss off her sister Allison. Then Allison told me that Kelly told her that she thought I was in love with her sister Lauren. I said well, she is pretty cute (I was busted). Kelly said I don't blame you, she's gorgeous. Well at this point I really didn't know what to do.

Anyways, I danced for a while with both Kelly and Lauren throughout the night (closer dancing with Lauren though). Later at the table Lauren kissed me again, on the other cheek, and the forehead (I wasn't sure if she was just weird, or maybe a lil drunk) and this was random kissing, it wasn't like we were talking intimately.

Well I really didn't know what to do. I didn't want to try putting the moves on Lauren right in front of Kelly, out of respect, but there wasn't anywhere else to try.

Anyway, long story short we left the bar/club around 3am and got a cab. We went to Allison's apt where all the girls got out. I got out too, said I was gonna walk to the subway station. I was hoping to be offered to come up to hang out or whatnot, but no go. So I said good bye to them, and took off (and got another cab). I didn't get her number that night b/c Allison told me she'd call me Sunday to let me know if they're doing anything. (she didn't)

So here's my dilemma. I really fell hard for Allison's sister that night, and think she likes me too. I'd like to talk to her again if I could, and am thinking about asking Allison for Lauren's #. However I think that might piss her off and am not sure if its worth it. I mean, her sister lives in Atlanta so who knows if I'll ever see her again. I just hadn't met anyone like her in over 2 years and it makes me wonder.

Should I just drop it altogether and not bother doing anything? Or should I get her number and see what happens? (oh and btw i live in NYC, she lives in ATL)

Trust me on this, I'm a girl...

If you ask Allison for Lauren's number, she will never totally be able to forgive you. You will probably make her feel like the "ugly sister" or you will make her feel like you are using her to get girls. Let's imagine just for a second that you asked for Lauren's number and it worked out. You all started dating, maybe she even moved to NYC and who knows, you all got serious enough down the road to talk about moving in together and maybe marriage. The closer you and Lauren got, the more Allison would resent that and the less she would want to hang out with you or Lauren. It may even cause Allison to quit speaking to either of you if she feels strongly about the situation. She knew you first and she probably feels like a loser because she has known you all this time and Lauren meets you one night and WHAM you fall for her. It could even possibly cause conflict between sisters, which is never a good idea.

I would say, don't go for it. Like other people have said, there are other girls out there and I don't think it's the time or the situation to go after Lauren. If you value Allison's friendship, then don't go after her sister. It would be a totally different scenario if you didn't know that Allison liked you.
