i appreciate the rolling ball, Ansonian

if it doesn't get to $30, then there's no way i'm selling it (i can always use an extra 1gb card, but i just figured i'd see what i could get for this one)

just bought a Transcend 1gb for $17 after rebate online. i'm sure lexar is a great brand but isn't $30 a bit much for used?

^^ lexar is a name brand (though not top of the line by any means), and i haven't seen any that cheap without rebates/shipping/taxes...i think that $30 for a barely-used (i've taken about 250 pictures on it) card without rebates/shipping/waiting isn't too bad

of course i'm not going to think i'm asking too much ...but as i said, i'll just keep it around if i can't get $30 for it...if i take pictures in RAW or TIFF format like i'm planning, an extra gig card could come in handy if i fill up the first one

i appreciate it, but less than $30 isn't worth it to me

HOWEVER, i have eaten my words before (and/or become desperate for cash), so if i end up really needing the money, i'll pm you (no sarcasm)

^^ i'll have to check on the speed (it's not the pro line, so...)

^ $38 plus ~$3 taxes = $41...so you could drive to walmart and get it, or save yourself $11 and pick it up at wolf village tonight

it's definitely not worth it for a 16x.

oh...well, like i said, i haven't seen any locally for $30 (and the example of the one at walmart is only a 1x), so if you can show me a decent (ie. brand-name) rebate/tax/s&h-free 16x 1gb sd card for less than $30, then i would be more than willing to ask for less

otherwise, your assertion that it's not worth $30 is completely subjective, and, by and large, an ignorant statement (though i agree that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it)

what you say is true, locally you won't be able to find it for less, though the speed is kinda slow. that being said my $27 - $10 rebate 80x 1gb is coming today tax/shipping free (ordered it on monday) !

I just bought a 133x 2 gig card for 100 bucks the other day.

If it wasn't 16x I'd buy it.
