We got a rather large hamster the other day and he's in an aquarium right now, which is fine, but I thought if someone on here had a larger hamster cage (or even a guinea pig cage) that they weren't using and would sell me for cheap, I would get him something nicer. Anybody have anything cheap like that laying around?

I guess he's not large in comparison with other hamsters of his type, but to me he's huge because I've only had the little hamsters and mice before. So, the critter cage I had my other rodents in doesn't come close to fitting him. I don't have a pic but he looks like this except his hair is a little longer and he has a white stripe through his middle. I still can't come up with a suitable name.

i have a guinea pig cage... i used to have hamsters and i put them in this once, but they were able to get through the wires. the wires are about 1" apart and horizontal. its one of the things with the tub that has the attaching top with wiring and the whole top opens up. its about 1.5' by 2'. if youre interested, let me know, i'll be back in the raleigh area on sunday evening.
