I was in the Wolfpack band in the fall of 1975 and traveled to East Lansing to participate in the football game between two undefeated teams. (We lost horribly!) The game was telecast on one of the networks. After the game got boring, the camera kept coming back to the band. I'd LOVE to have a copy of that game, and the networks have been NO help at all. Anybody out there got any leads?? Please let me know at pharmacist@medsinmakeup.com. THANKS! 5/3/2006 4:14:01 PM |

I'm 4th generation NCSU--the tiny CHAMBERLAIN street (if it's still there on campus) was named after my great great grandfather. And one of my ancestors was the first professor of agriculture at State. My blood is very RED. I was fortunate enough to come along in the David Thompson/Monte Towe era and my family had season tickets. I started out as a physics major at State, but decided I wanted to be a pharmacist. Back in the OLD DAYS, that meant only one place to go to school unless you went out of state, and my family couldn't have afforded to send me out of state. Yes, to quote one of my favorite calculus professors at State, I had to go the the "school across the way" (he wouldn't even say the name!!) I hated almost every minute I was there. There were some isolated nice people there, but as a whole, they were a bunch of assholes who pretended they were intellectuals. CAROLINA SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAROLINA SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey-- Nobody GAVE me anything at Carolina. No, I wasn't one of the ATHLETES studying some bunch of CRYP courses. I worked REAL HARD to get my degree. And I also EARN every penny I make as a pharmacist. Grow Up!! 5/4/2006 3:45:58 PM |
