Do they let you bring your own beer there? The website just talks about what size coolers, not what is in them. 5/4/2006 8:46:58 PM |

Richmond use to be good. I went in the old days like early 90's. The current put road use to be the actual track. Then they made it more round/d-shape. Ever since they did the modifications its not as good of a track. Not as much side by side racing as it use to be. Overall though its not a bad track. They can have some long long green flag runs if the conditions are right. But what the hell, that can happen at any track. Esp those shitty ones out west.
Oh yeah to answer your question, not going to richmond. Daytona in July and Atlanta in October.

i've only been to one race as a fan, and we took coolers in ... that were full of beer. i think the rule is that you can take beer in as long as it's in a can/plastic bottle and not a glass bottle. 5/4/2006 10:20:39 PM |

yeah pretty sure it's a 13" X 13" inch maximum per cooler, but put whatever you want in them. they just dont want glass like said before 5/4/2006 10:24:08 PM |

Not looking like a good night for Hendrick Motorsports.
But I fuckin' love that Craftsmen Tools commercial that throws that gymnast like 40 feet into the tables.
[Edited on May 6, 2006 at 9:58 PM. Reason : Craftsman Commercial.]
What happened to Denny Hamlin? 19 stitches.

the craftsman tools commercial with the malfunctioning bowling ball return launching bowling balls into the crowd was awesome.
Jr. needed that win tonight, even though he's been finishing really well all season. 5/6/2006 11:02:51 PM |

^^the team was testing at charlotte and a timing glitch said he ran a 9 second lap. someone on the team bet him $100 that they could run around the semi in 9 seconds and he did. Denny said he could do it in under 10 and he did, but as he rounded a corner he grabbed onto something and cut his hand open, and still won the bet. 5/7/2006 8:20:08 AM |

I think that's why they ran it on saturday NIGHT... arn't there laws about when and where you can advertise hard liquor? Or I might have imagined that. 5/9/2006 11:09:00 PM |
