I went to lowesmotorspeedway.com and just clicked on tickets to get them.
I had good seats last year in the Chrysler section and they ran about $60.00.
Last year the Black Crowes played the day of the race, and I think this year the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are playing. Concert is held on the infield of the race track starting around 1 or 2 (or something like that...it'll say it on the ticket).
You can get tickets though, they called me the other day and wanted to know if i wanted to buy again this year and I told them I was already going.

I wouldnt recommend going to the all-star race first. It is mostly glitz and glamour, and not much real racing. I went and wasnt really impressed. Its an interesting experience, but if you really want the real experience get some tickets to a Richmond Night Race/Bristol Night Race. Then you will be hooked.5/6/2006 10:09:04 PM |

^i disagree....last year's all star race was bad because of the BIG wreck near the start/finish line. It took out like half the field.
I saw one of the best races EVER last year in person at the All Star race when Vickers spun out Bliss at the finish line to win the preliminary race. It was awesome.
Those guys are racing for $1,000,000....that's about as much as an incentive anyone needs to race competitevly the whole race.
If you are new, DON'T go to the 600. It's waaaaaaaaaaaay to long.
I have been to Richmond and it is a cool race though. Never been to Bristol. 5/6/2006 10:18:24 PM |

nah, 600 is the shit.
but the key, is you gotta get infield tickets. drink all day, grill out, move around. then, when its over, you just sit back and wait for the crowds to clear..
dad's been going for years so he's got the good spots near turn three at the fence. doesnt get much better then that. 5/6/2006 11:31:26 PM |

^^No, it's in between the race segments, so probably 2 or 3 songs. Train is there at 3:30, and will play for about an hour. I, for one, will not watch that.

If you know someone with the Charlotte Observer, that usually works out well. If you know someone on a race team, even better.5/8/2006 9:50:53 AM |
