Ok, I have looked and looked. I cannot figure out how to upgrade the hdd in my softmodded xbox. I can't figure out if I really need to unlock it in a modded xbox and change my EEPROM to match his or what. Please TWW....help me!

Use a program called Chimps Ltools, I can send it to you if you want. Basically all you do is boot up the box, unplug the DVD drive and plug in the new HD, boot the program and it will format the new drive and copy everything over from the smaller drive to the larger drive. Turn off the box with the new drive in place of the old one and it will boot up exactly the same as before.

ok, i have figured this out. It seems that ltools may not work for xbox v1.6, BUT i have a different way. If anyone would like to upgrade the hdd in their softmodded xbox PM me for instructions and software.
