Where exactly do these appear? I know I have one, I have the form right here, but does it appear on a transcript? Should it be on the diploma?

Minors will show up on your transcript if you filled out the paperwork for it (see your advisors for a minor form and get them to sign it). Whether or not you get a sheet of paper for it depends on the individual minor.

hm...i've been wondering this, myself. i expected some sort of university recognition for the time and effort i spent on the minor i got.

I'm pretty sure you get a separate diploma for your minor.

would I have had to go to the department one for the minor to receive that one? I got a minor in Computer Programming, but the BS in ME, so obviously that's not at the same graduation

Unlikely. Email the head of the minor if you really want to know. Genetics put the certificates with your major, in the degree folder.

I got a couple of minors. Both showed up on my transcript but the only other piece of paper that I ever got that reflected the achievement was my resume.
