When I brake I can feel the petal vibrate a lil, more so at higher speeds than lower, so I was thinking I need to get my brakes looked at to see if they were still good. I have about 70,000 on my car and havnt had anything done to the brakes so far and that seems high enough to me for them to start going bad, yes I am a girl and know nothing about cars.
Anyway, wanted to know where the best place for me go get it looked at? Quality is more important to me than price but dont want to get ripped off either.
Thanks for any help! 5/17/2006 12:50:26 PM |

Your brakes are warped. The simplest and cheapest solution would be to have your rotors turned.
What kind of car do you have? We need to know this to determine if you have 2 or 4 wheel disc brakes. 5/17/2006 1:12:51 PM |

Yeah, my boyfriend lives in Winston and we see each other every weekend... so I drive out there a lot... plus driving to work everyday. My dad always said cars are used for driving! 5/17/2006 1:55:14 PM |

getting new pads would be better.
pads can warp also, and getting new rotors will not help.5/17/2006 2:43:45 PM |
