What's attached to the secondary controller? I don't have any idea why it would BTW unless it's pre DMA hardware.... but that would be like pre-laptop hardware. 5/20/2006 10:15:59 PM |

i was trying to play a dvd on my laptop and it was all choppy
the internet told me to uninstall and reinstall the secondary IDE driver, which changed it from PIO to DMA and fixed the choppiness

Check the settings for it under your BIOS and make sure you have the newest driver for the thing. 5/21/2006 3:23:44 PM |
