From WRAL
Quote :
"Wednesday Night: Cloudy skies with a few areas of light rain and/or sprinkles. Lows in the mid-upper 60s. Our cold front is on the way. During the day today the front produced severe weather across the Deep South. Numerous reports of wind damage and a handful of tornado reports from Louisiana to Alabama were seen. Our weather should be quiet tonight with just plenty of clouds and a few passing light showers. The weather should become more active during the morning commute. Winds tonight from the southeast from 15-20mph.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with showers and some thunderstorms likely during the first half of the day. Highs in the upper 60s-low 70s in the morning and falling into the 50s during the afternoon. We have a slight risk that some of our storms could become severe. The primary threats are damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. It will also be very windy with winds from the south at 20-25mph and gusty at times. There is also the potential for brief heavy downpours when our line of showers and storms move through anywhere from 8am-2pm. Once the line passes it will cool off, remain windy and the clouds will decrease. Pay close attention to the weather this morning as there is the likelihood for severe weather warnings."

this sucks. I'm lacking about a half-day's work from being finished with this out-of-town project, and I need to be in the office on Friday. looks like I'm going to have to come back down here one day in a couple weeks.

I was just watching a report on the weather channel. Over 120 tornadoes have been reported on November 15 in the past 15 years. Outbreaks happened on the 15th-16th in 87,88,89, 95, 05 and now 06---weird
