There are days where my job makes me want to (1.) Cry. (B.) Slit my wrists. (III.) Blow my brains out.

Take your pick. It's arbitrary, and at least one of those happens every day on the goddamn job.

i fucking hate my job. i hated my job before this one and the one before that one.

my ideal jobs wouldnt make me any money, so i have to stick with what i despise. at this point in life ill trade some happiness for money.

Its still a little early to tell, but compared to my co-op position so far my real job is a good balance between a satisfying career and making money.

I've only been with my job two weeks so far, but I'm enjoying it. It's a small business so it's close-knit and the people are great. Some of the work is hard but I was expecting that and actually looking forward to some of it. I don't know yet if I love it because it is a little different from what I was looking for, but it's been great so far.

I used to think I'd always hate work, but I guess my co-op was just an awful experience.

My full-time position is great, my co-workers are awesome, my boss is mad chill, money's pretty good...I actually don't mind going to work. I still won't say I "love it", because getting up at 6:00am still pisses me off, but once I'm there it's not miserable, so I'm thrilled.

I'm certainly not in love with my career. Its not the worst thing in the world though. I get paid fairly well and I work less than 40 hrs/week most weeks. Of course, I stay behind most of the time, but so do the people that put in 60 hrs., so whats the point? I work around some good people which helps.

Last month, I pulled my boss to the side and told him that I would like to explore other opportunities within the company. We then set down with the office manager and discussed it. I've been in my position for 1.5 years now, so I feel like I have a good idea that its not leading in the direction I want to go. Fortunately, I work with a company that treats employees well and they are now putting me on a career path to try out something different. I don't know if the next move is going to be a career, but at least its something new. I'm currently a workers' compensation claims adjuster and I'm looking to move into underwriting. I would advise anyone that doesn't like their job to change. You only live once, and it isn't worth it to spend 40 hrs./week feeling like there is something else out there.

I'd like to find something I love with my company. Salary is good, benefits are excellent, and I get 4-5 weeks of vacation a year which is hard to find at most other jobs.

(And this thread would be much more interesting and informative, if everyone shared what they did for a living).
