Probably in the next day or so. Games don't start til June 2nd
This is a winnable bracket, sure Texas is tough, but not a team that we can't beat. 5/29/2006 12:57:09 PM |

just one team from each regional makes it to the super regional right? 5/29/2006 1:01:55 PM |

Its just the top seed to come out of the Regionals that make it to the Supers.
I think its a winnable bracket, albeit not an easy one. Stanford will be tough, and beating Tejas again will be like beating FSU twice. It can be done, but we have to come to play, every inning.
i love NCAA baseball. when the hell are we going to get a regional? I checked NCAAsports.com for times and dates but nothing yet. 5/29/2006 1:15:03 PM |

If we wouldn't have stubbed our toe's against Miami, UNC and VT... I'm pretty sure we would have hosted a regional and been a pretty high national seed.
Getting swept by UNC and losing 2/3 to Miami hurt us, especially since it was late in the season.
Stanford's a damn tough first game, but I think Hobson(?) will be able to shut them down and give us a shot at Tejas. 5/29/2006 2:08:16 PM |

we have GOT to have some pitching.
yesterday was absolutely horrible. NOBODY could throw strikes, it was sad...
we need the bottom of the order to get hot too.
camp, corona, and bates are always solid...gotta bring those baserunners home.... 5/29/2006 2:10:43 PM |

uncDUB is in chapel hill, much closer to go watch then all the way in TEXXXXXAS. They gotta contend with unc, winthrop, and maine...i think if ncsu had gotten in there it would have gone to the next round. 5/29/2006 2:27:33 PM |

i'd keep an eye on uncw. they have a tough team that will play hard the whole game.
but unc's pitching is too damn good for that regional 5/29/2006 2:34:44 PM |

^Yeah, unless UNCW plays like Gods, they have no shot against UNC.
Stanford is a VERY good team who i believe took 2-3 from Texas earlier this season. But you've got to wonder if Hobson will start against Stanford or be saved for a potential bout with Texas? I'd say start McConnel against Stanford and bring Hobson against TX. 5/29/2006 6:02:47 PM |
