this question is for the people who ride in here. im lookin to buy a good half helmet for ridin around town. But, most of the ones i look at are thick as hell. so the question is this:

what is the thinnest dot approved helmet i can get?

do you want a helmet that protects you or just to be legal?

a motorcycle helmet is thick if you want impact protection

put a dot sticker on whatever if you don't want a ticket

why not get a real helmet?

(coming from a dude who's owned 3 bikes, ridden at least a dozen others, and been in 4 wrecks)
