I want to connect my ipod to my car cd player directly so that I avoid the static involved in the itrip. I don't have an auxiliary input, but one of my friends hooked something up to the back of his cd player that gave him a direct line to plug the ipod into. Unfortunately, he doesn't really know how he did it. Anyone know how this can be done? 6/3/2006 1:33:05 AM |

I don't really see how an FM Modulator constitutes a direct connection. Anyway, if it converts it to an FM frequency you immediately cut the sound quality in half, so it's not going to sound good. You might just have to get your receiver replaced, but you can get a receiver with an auxiliary input for less than $150 bucks if you shop around. That seems like a lot just to be able to connect your iPod, but it's worth it for the boost in sound quality. 6/3/2006 10:06:10 AM |
